Our Rich Heritage

Mount Carmel is driven by the belief that people committed to Godliness and servitude can actually change the world. Beginning with our founders, Dr. V. K. Williams and Dr. (Mrs.) N.M.Williams, an ever-growing family of Mount Carmel staff and Alumni have committed themselves to changing the world.

Our Chairman's Message
Dr. Vijay Williams along with his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Neena Williams are the founder members of Mount Carmel School Society. Dr. Williams has an M.Sc in Chemistry, M.Ed. in Education and PhD. in Education. Being a man from the forces, he is a strict disciplinarian. Dr. Williams was a serving officer in the Indian Air Force.

After I met the Lord Jesus Christ in April 1976 I resigned my permanent commission and joined the primary school, which was being run by my wife in our residence. This was in response to a direct command from the Lord to go forward (Exodus 14:15). For me going forward meant resigning from my commission in the Air Force. Mathew 20:1 from the
Bible, says For the Kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. God spoke to my heart very clearly that the school was His vineyard and I have to work as His servant.

The Lord also spoke to my heart from 1Corinthians 3:9, For we are labourers together with God. My vision is very clear that I am in this School to primarily preach the good news every day to the students and teachers that Lord Jesus Christ is the only true and living God, who came on earth in human history through a virgin birth in the center of the earth in Israel; lived a sinless life and died the most cursed death on the cross for sinners. Thus, He paid the penalty of sin for every man, rose again the third day to prove that death was not due to His sin. Every man who turns from sins and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ in his heart receives forgiveness of sins in His name. Thus, the primary responsibility of Mount Carmel is to prepare godly men and women in the business world redeemed by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ who are sure of the forgiveness of their sins, and thus have their eternity secure.

Our Founder's Message

Dr. (Mrs.) Neena Williams has an M.A. in English Literature and PhD. in Education specializing in the field of Education and drama. She has produced over 20 plays out of which six have been telecasted on National Televison.

According to Mrs. Williams, " Education is leading a person from darkness to light. According to Watson, an authority on Educational Psychology, a child when born, his mind is a tabula rasa (clean slate). The teacher writes on it. Rousseau, a French Philosopher, said a child is a seed who has all the potentials. He only needs a proper gardener to provide the suitable environment of manure and watering to bring it all out. Mount Carmelbelieves that the above are not absolute statements.
Children need to be taught by parents and teachers and the environment plays an important role in carving their character. Mount Carmel longs to have God fearing people knowing that God is living, holy, almighty and victor over death personified in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the standard of every divine quality that a man should strive for. The world has not seen any leader of His stature in humility, in man management, in administration, in knowledge, in compassion and wisdom. Thus, these are vital in preparing the best and brightest young people for productive life of faith and service. The role model is Lord Jesus.

The most challenging task of MCTBS is to nurture this faith of a person in this materialistic world. For the first time in this part of India there is a business school with the culture that perhaps will help youth experience genuine transformation".

His Message

" Dear friend, allow me to share two important lessons I learned early in life.First, always a student be. Someone once said you stop learning the day you die. Let me say the reverse is true as well. you die the day you stop learning. God the Father, who created all men, gave each one a functioning brain and a great idea can come from any source. You can be the medium or the instrument for the implementation of the same. You just have to remain a student of life, ever listening, ever watching, ever understanding and learning. The Lord Jesus in the book of Matthews said, "Blessed are the hungry.for they shall be filled"

(Matt 7:7). This is the second lesson. If you lose your appetite, you will miss some of the most delicious moments in life. Keep asking, keep looking and keep knocking. To stay fresh, to be the one with ideas, to be the problem solver, as I have always wished for myself, I now wish for you in these college years of yours to stay hungry. May the Lord continue to bless you".

Our Dean's Message

“Let all those rejoice who put their trust in you; let them ever shout for joy,
Because you defend them; let those also who love your name be joyful in you.”

“The command most often repeated in the Bible is,”rejoice”.To rejoice means not only to have joy, but to be joyful. It means to feel exceeding gladness and to express that joy. We are commanded to do it, not for God’s sake, but for our own sake. Joy is more than positive thinking or pumping oneself up with compliments and encouragement.

Life needs a lot of hard work and smart work to get the right success at the right time. We should be focused on our goal. If our vision is clear then nobody can stop us achieving our goal. Mount Carmel shows the right path for success. You can grow here with full confidence and right knowledge.”
